Milk Chocolate Whoppers Brownies are a malted milk brownie made with milk chocolate and topped with a malted chocolate frosting! If you are a fan of the classic candy, you will love these brownies!
While I always think you should make the stuff you see here, I have to say these are really good brownies. Really good…and the frosting, oh my word..it’s awesome ~ tastes just like a Whopper thanks to the yummy addition of Ovaltine!
These are pretty easy brownies…straight forward…no funny business.
Chop up some Whoppers (chocolate malt balls)
Then melt your milk chocolate and butter together. When it’s good and melty add your wet stuff, like eggs, vanilla and brown sugar.
Then add your dry stuff…flour, baking powder, Ovaltine etc,When all that’s mixed together fold in your Whoppers.
And spread it into your prepared pan.
Bake ’em up and then frost them with some yummy Chocolate Malt Frosting…or don’t, but you really should.
You can thank me later!

Instructions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×13 baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.
- Melt the milk chocolate and butter in a medium saucepan over low heat until the chocolate is just melted, stirring frequently.

Thank you for this tutorial! The photos are wonderful! : )
I could not get the frosting to work. I think it was the malted milk powder. I am going to try the brownies and frosting again, but with ovaltine.
oh man! what happened with the frosting? The Ovaltine does work great 🙂
I am making these right now… the batter is delicious! I cannot wait for my staff to try them tomorrow! Thanks for the recipe.
I made these and have to say they are delicious!
Thank you so much for sharing your delicious recipes!
Yummy, malt and chocolate together…. such a wonderful combo! Love malt frosting too, for the extra kick of malt 🙂
Just wanted to let you know that I did indeed try these out over the holiday weekend and they turned out fantastic! I did everything just as you said and trusted your awesome recipe writing skills, and I was happily rewarded with perfect brownies 🙂 (this is actually the first time I have ever down brownies from scratch -gasp! I know) We took them to my boyfriend’s family and they were a huge hit (I get the feeling I’ll be making them again soon). Thanks again for the recipe! (I took photos if you want to see them, but they aren’t artfully arranged or nearly as cute as yours) 🙂
Have a great day and thanks again for sharing!
I am so happy to hear that!!! YAY!

hey hello,am actually new to baking and i have a query if i dont have the OTG oven and have a microwave oven how can i bake it tat?
Hi Mona ~
I am not familiar with baking in the microwave…I know there are recipes that you can do that way, but I don’t believe this is one of them 🙁 sorry.
I hope you guys have recovered and things are mostly back to normal. I’m in NC, but my area was spared (many others weren’t so lucky.) Chocolate is a good way to take your mind off stress and the big cleanup job ahead!
